Why do we run this site?

We are passionate readers and admirers of Ryszard Kapuściński’s work. Running this site is our hobby, and it gives us genuine satisfaction. We hope that the effort we put into it will help you discover and be captivated by the extraordinary world of Ryszard Kapuściński’s writing.

We are the oldest and first website devoted entirely to the work of Ryszard Kapuściński. We have been running continuously since September 2000.

We collect all information about Kapuściński’s work appearing in the Polish and international press. Despite the great loss that the death of the master of reportage was for all of us, our site lives on and will continue to do so — there is still a great deal of material (especially in foreign languages) to publish, and the body of texts written by Ryszard Kapuściński seems inexhaustible.
