About the Site
The kapuscinski.info website
The website has been online since September 2000. It collects information about the life and work of Ryszard Kapuściński: his books, translations, interviews, press reception, awards, audio recordings, and academic and educational materials.
The site was created by readers interested in the writer’s work. Its purpose is to organise scattered materials and make texts published in different periods and languages easier to find.
History of the site
The first version of the website was available at kapuscinski.hg.pl. Ryszard Kapuściński provided a dedication for its readers.

After the writer’s death in 2007, the website retained its archival role while continuing to document new editions, translations, publications, and events concerning his work.
Editorial principles
The website publishes both editorial articles and archival material. For material originating in the press, books, or institutional collections, we identify the author and source whenever that information is available. Quotations and excerpts retain the language of the original publication.
We aim to distinguish contemporary editorial articles from source material. Biographical and bibliographical information should be supported by identifiable sources. Interpretations are presented as possible readings rather than undisputed conclusions.
Errors, missing information, and comments concerning authorship can be reported at:

The editorial team accepts information about publications, events, archival press cuttings, and other material concerning Ryszard Kapuściński’s work. Before publication, we require details that make it possible to establish the material’s provenance and the rights governing its use.
Academic theses
The website makes master’s and bachelor’s theses about Kapuściński’s work available to readers. Publication requires the author’s consent to make the thesis available free of charge. These texts remain the work of their authors; the editorial team does not alter their arguments or language without prior agreement.
